GRITFIT.AI Refund & Subscription Terms

These terms explain how GRITFIT.AI’s subscription service works, including billing, cancellation and refund rules. GRITFIT.AI offers month-to-month and annual plans (billed in advance), with renewal and payment handled automatically. For example, “You can subscribe to our app on a monthly or annual basis…Your subscription automatically renews on the same day each month or year, depending on the plan you choose.”. We will clearly disclose the renewal interval, price, and cancellation steps at signup, and send reminders before each renewal.

Renewal and Cancellation

  • Auto‑renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled. This is disclosed up front, and we will send a timely reminder before renewal. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current paid period; thereafter no further charges will be incurred. For example: if you cancel a monthly plan midway through the month, you keep access until that month ends and then the subscription simply does not renew.
  • Cancellation process: You must cancel via your account settings or by contacting support before the renewal date. We will confirm your cancellation in writing (e.g. by email) so you have a record. Any cancellation notice is effective from the next renewal date.
  • No Partial-Period Refunds: Except as noted below, we do not provide pro-rated refunds or credits for any unused time. As stated in similar subscription terms, “We do not offer refunds for any portion of the subscription period after a payment has been processed”. In other words, cancelling mid-period simply stops the next charge – it does not trigger a partial refund for the remainder of the period.

Free Trials and Promotions

  • Trial periods: If GRITFIT.AI offers a free trial or discounted introductory offer, the trial length and post-trial price will be clearly stated. We will inform you when the trial is ending and charges will begin. Unless you cancel before the trial expires, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription on the next billing date at the regular rate.
  • One trial per customer: Trials and introductory promotions are one‑time offers. Each user is limited to a single trial period; attempts to obtain multiple trials using different accounts or identities will be treated as abuse. Misuse of promotional codes or trials may result in forfeiture of the offer and possible account suspension.
  • No binding obligation: You are under no obligation to continue after a trial ends. We generally do not require payment details to start a free trial. If you do not upgrade to a paid plan by the end of the trial, your account may be automatically suspended or limited until you subscribe.

Billing Methods and Fees

  • Automated billing: All payments are collected via our secure automated billing system (e.g. credit/debit card or other payment method you choose). Charges occur on the same day each month or year as your initial signup date. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable subscription fees until you cancel.
  • Taxes and processing: Subscription fees exclude any applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is up to date; if a billing attempt fails, we will notify you by email. You must promptly update your billing details to avoid service interruption.

Failed Payments & Grace Period

If an automatic payment fails (for example, due to an expired card), we may retry payment once or twice. During this time, we may allow a short grace period so you can update your payment information. For instance, app stores often implement a “billing grace period” that lets subscribers continue accessing content for a few days while resolving payment issues. If payment still cannot be collected after retries, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the subscription for non-payment, at which point access will end. No refund will be due for the unpaid period.

Refund Policy & Exceptions

  • No refunds for change of mind: We do not refund simply because you changed your mind or are unsatisfied with the service. As noted above, unused time in an active period is non-refundable. UK law does allow a 14-day “cooling-off” period for online contracts, but this can be waived by consumers for immediate-start digital services. By continuing to use GRITFIT.AI you acknowledge the service begins immediately and you expressly waive the right to cancel once content delivery has started.
  • Statutory rights: Nothing in our policy affects your statutory consumer rights. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and EU law, if a digital service is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to remedies (repair, replacement or refund). Similarly, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a right to cancel within 14 days of starting a subscription (provided you have not agreed to waive that right by using the service). Any refunds required by law (for example, due to a technical failure or duplicate billing error) will be processed in accordance with those legal requirements.
  • Limited refunds: As a courtesy, we may consider refunds or credits in exceptional cases such as duplicate charges, clear technical faults on our side, or other documented errors. Any such refunds are at our discretion and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. However, dissatisfaction with subjective AI recommendations or unmet expectations (for example, because of personal health differences) does not qualify for a refund. We disclaim any guarantee of specific fitness outcomes: as one fitness service terms put it, “We do not guarantee specific fitness results. Results may vary due to individual differences, health conditions, and compliance with the program.”.

Price Changes & Plan Modifications

GRITFIT.AI reserves the right to change subscription pricing, plans, features or billing cycles at any time. Any change will apply prospectively to new subscribers and, when possible, at renewal for existing subscribers. We will give you reasonable notice of significant changes (for example, by email or notice on the site). In practice, prices and terms may change – for example, another SaaS provider notes that “prices of all services… are subject to change without prior notice” – but we will strive to inform you of material changes to your plan ahead of renewal. If you do not agree to a change in terms or price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

UK & EU Consumer Rights

We comply with applicable UK and EU consumer protection laws. Generally, consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts. If you are in the UK or EU and change your mind within 14 days of subscribing, you may cancel and receive a full refund of the subscription charge (provided you have not already received and used the full service). Once you have begun using GRITFIT.AI’s digital services (and specifically agreed to waive withdrawal rights), however, that statutory right may not apply. Please note certain laws allow no withdrawals for fully performed services if performance began with your consent; our signup process will explain this. This policy does not reduce or waive any statutory rights you have as a consumer in your jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution & Contact

We aim to resolve all issues quickly. If you have any questions or complaints about your subscription, please contact us at the support email or address provided on our website. In the UK and EU, you also have the right to free dispute resolution: for instance, UK businesses must inform consumers about certified ADR (alternative dispute resolution) schemes. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, UK customers may contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Service for assistance (which provides information on ADR schemes). EU customers may likewise use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. These options do not affect your legal rights but are available as an alternative to court proceedings.
