GRITFIT is general consumer fitness software. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease or injury and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian, emergency service or qualified professional who can assess you in person.
Separate health-data choice
This disclaimer is safety information, not consent. During onboarding, GRITFIT separately asks for explicit consent to process the health and fitness information you choose to provide for training personalisation. The Global Privacy Notice explains the information, purposes, recipients and withdrawal rights. Withdrawing that consent disables processing that depends on it; it does not change processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Training and GRITFIT Coach information is general and may contain errors. Personalisation uses information you record; it cannot observe your technique, environment, undisclosed conditions or every change in your health. Safety rules and validation reduce risk but cannot make exercise risk-free.
Before training, decide whether the session is suitable for your health, experience, equipment and surroundings. Use safe technique and appropriate supervision. Do not attempt a movement, load, pace or duration you cannot control. Information about an injury or limitation can influence suggestions but is not a clinical assessment or clearance to exercise.
Stop training and seek appropriate help for chest pain, fainting, severe or unusual breathlessness, a new neurological symptom, sudden severe pain, signs of serious allergic reaction, or another alarming symptom. For an emergency call 999 or 112 in the UK, 911 in the US, 000 in Australia, or 111 in New Zealand.
If you are pregnant, postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, living with a medical condition, taking medication that affects exercise, or unsure whether exercise is appropriate, obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional.
You remain responsible for deciding what to do. Never delay seeking medical help because of content in GRITFIT.
